Ddraig (Lioleia in particular) are prolific shapeshifters and are rumored to suck the life force from unsuspecting humans upon transforming. Being a beacon for both magical and physical strength, her species were once respected and feared. Causing destruction in their wake, haunting the Welsh countrysides with ghastly roars and cries. At some point, humans discovered ddraig naturally produced gemstones within their core and mercilessly slaughtered them for their glimmering treasures. Who knew cannons were so effective against nature?

As an adult with unresolved trauma, Lioleia prefers more human-like forms opposed to that of a wyrm. An insecure creature that loathes her own kin, somehow blaming them for her misfortune opposed to targeting her disdain onto the arrogance and cruelty of humankind.
