Rozalin, also known as Rozy, is another of Disgaea 2’s main protagonists and is the daughter of the powerful Overlord Zenon. She was accidently summoned to Holt Village after Adell’s mom attempted to summon Overlord Zenon through a giant magic pot. As part of the summoning pact, Rozalin is bound to Adell and cannot leave his side. For most of her life, Rozalin has been isolated in a large and tightly guarded palace, never allowed to leave and venture into the world. Naturally, she wishes to be escorted back to her lavish home and brush aside her time with lower demons and humans. Yet, as she searches for her father, she begins to question why he has not even attempted to find her.
Rozalin is best described as haughty, calculative, deceptive and spoiled. She demands nothing more than that her every whim be fulfilled and that she be treated as the princess she is. She is also easily angered and her temper is tough to pacify. Yet, she does show a soft spot for children, namely Adell’s siblings, Taro and Hanako.
On the field of battle, Rozalin provides some of the best support in the game. She is equipped with a gun and has good SP, Resistance and Hit. Her special attacks are fairly unique and she has arguably one of the best stat boosters in the game. Her final special "Rose Liberation" is a one of a kind special attack: While it uses Hit to calculate damage, it uses an enemy's resistance instead of defense to mitigate damage. Rozalin's Inherent ability is also very good, as it boosts the stats of nearby male units. Some players like to have Skulls or Geomancers to follow her around to gain the stat bonus. This allows Rozalin to keep out of close combat and still have long range male units that can benefit from her stat bonus.
