Based on the votes and feedback provided in our latest discussion post, we have moved the Premium Characters list to their own page and added a navigation link to them within the Characters Submenu navigation.

In turn we have increased the number of characters listed up to 36 now that there's only 1 widget (not accounting for the Featured Members widget).
Well after trialing having the premium members featured on the characters directory in between the featured members and newest members for 7 days, now would be the time for user feedback on this.

It's now Sunday, the check for inactive accounts has been re-enabled. It's set to check every day at 7PM Central Time for accounts that have not logged in within the 30 day period.
After two months, suspended accounts will be deleted manually in bulk regardless of when the account was suspended. In this case, there will be a little bit of a buffer, 1st manual deletion will occur January 1st 2025. So there will be plenty of time to recover a suspended account due to inactivity.

It's officially the 20th, which means the new NSFW rule has gone into effect, please review the published rule here: https://roleplays.io/rules
As of this notice, the "Remember Me" function has been disabled and the system for suspending inactive accounts will be turned back on this Sunday. People that have not logged logged out and logged back in, in some time are encouraged to do so between now and then to avoid any suspensions tripped by the bot.
The activity timestamp on the account is updated with each login, not actions taken per character profile.

With the return of the videos section, you may need to go into your notification settings to fix any broken ones. They will have a warning symbol next to them.
To fix, just toggle, wait a second and toggle it back to its original state.
We're down to the week where the NSFW rule goes live on the site, this is just a reminder that if you haven't already done so, please go in and audit your content on site! Once the rule goes live and is enforced, content in violation (not set correctly) will be removed.
If you see others that have yet to do so, send them a friendly nudge to correct their content.
As a reminder, the rule is set to go live this Friday (Sep. 20. 2024)

Hello all, so we have been noticing lately there has been quite a few people who are just making accounts then like 3-7 days later they have been deleting said character only to make a new one entirely. While we understand that you wish to make new characters a lot, 25 characters are able to be made. With this being said if this tends to be very constant we will suspend the account out right. We don't want the new character feature constantly being abused for the use of popularity. This will also include if your making the same character entirely this doesn't mean the people who accidentally delete their account yes this has happened we won't mention names it's human nature. With that being said we wish everyone a great day!
