PERSONALITY:

From what her clients have said about the seamstress is that she very easygoing and polite. She’d go out of her way to meet clients at their homes if they have no way of getting to her. Thus her leaving shop most days to tend to people in Mondstadt, Inazuma and other places. Violette adores her parents, found her passion for clothes making thanks to them.

When not working on attires, she is often found at Wanwen Bookhouse looking for a good book or working as a part time librarian aide in Mondstadt and or waving at people at treetops as she tends to get stuck up there. Not only does she like making clothing, she knits and is also often making flower crowns for the children. She often enjoys being surrounded by books as well along with helping anyone look for a book they need.

Violette isn’t much of a drinker, will only indulge in one or two drinks and anymore than that.. Well.. No comment. She very much likes sweets and isn’t picky when it comes between tea or coffee. Both is good.

She detests fighting but when it comes to protecting her love ones then she’ll do what she must.

BACKGROUND:

Though she was born in Fontaine, she has no memory of it as her parents decided to move to Liyue a few months after she was born. The 2nd of two children they were able to conceive as Violette’s mother grew ill after giving birth to them. Her father thought moving would help give her mother strength again and it did for a couple years. She and her twin grew up apart as he stayed back in Fontaine with their grandparents. Violette had seen how much of a hard worker her father was, working late nights to make sure there was food at the table and her mother had her medicine. As they still have no recollection on what the illness might be.

When she was about 8 years old, Violette often assisted her father at shop as she didn’t really play with the children. Rarely she did, as one time playing hide and seek with the other children, she was forgotten when a thunder storm rolled through. She stayed hidden away under a bridge till her father had found her shaken up and crying. She holds no grudge at all towards the other children because who wouldn’t be scared of a storm like that.

As Violette grew older, frequenting the shop making sure orders were taken and completed. To actually making the outfits herself and eventually took over. She wanted lessen the stress on her parents so that they could live a more carefree life.

While the feline does work as a seamstress, she does have another job as a librarian aide in Mondstadt working under the Librarian Lisa Minci. While Lisa goes to more extreme measures of getting a book returned, Violette, would show up at the person’s home in the middle of the night and kindly demands the book back. Or sneaks into their home and brings the book back to the library so Ms Minci doesn’t rage.

During down time was in the Knights of Favonius HQ where the library is located, the feline is often roaming the rows of books seeing what will catch her eye. One time a patron dropped off an overdue book and tried to sneak out without paying fines, so she use her cryo vision to make the floor slippery and couldn't leave till the fines were paid. Best not to fold a corner of the book's page in front of her.. or you'll get what is coming.

ABOUT VISION:

Violette had been doing her usual rounds of flower picking in the area between Mt Aocang and Qingyun Peak. What she wasn’t expecting was the weather to suddenly change, from the sun shinning to a wild thunder storm. Picking Violetgrass at the edge, thinking there was enough reach but she slipped when thunder struck not far from her. Quick to loose her balance only to plunge into the water below. The feline unable swim and slowly began to sink towards the bottom. Her life quickly flashed before the seamstress’ eyes; about her parents and how she loved making everyone smile, that she didn't want to leave them yet.

Trying to swim up, only for something flashed in the water which looked to be a vision slowly making its way down to her. Struggling to swim up and almost out of breathe, her hand reaching towards said vision before seeing darkness quickly swim her way for a split second then passing out. When the feline finally came to, she was out of the water with a cryo vision in hand. Blinking a few times to clear her sight only to find out she had been crying and curled into herself while clutching the item into her chest.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS:

No one knows what goes on behind the scenes of the Sartre household. The sudden dropped façade Violette’s parents so called love and adoration for her to just guilt and blame. Their only daughter having to hide the pain and hurt behind a smile that everything was okay. Violette being constantly berated that her mother’s sickness was her fault and how much she wasn’t wanted. Along with why her brother was left behind. She more or less taken up sewing to tend to her own wounds before those needles touched fabric and its why she is never seen with short sleeves.

The people of Liyue believe the feline is a hard-worker, spending countless hours at the shop to get those commissions done when in reality she’d rather stay in shop than be home. Her shop is her safe heaven till the very man she calls father shows up at her doors demanding compensation for bringing her into the world when they are left alone. Consequences happen when the feline refuses and has to close up shop for the rest of the day or week.

No one know what goes on, because Violette refuses to speak any ill will about her parents and only blames herself. She also doesn’t have to explain anything to her twin as he already knows.
