Personality: There are a lot of apt descriptors of Animikii's personality. Casual. Sharp-witted. Inquisitive. Compassionate. Unfunny. None of them really describe him in full, though. This bird's worldview is warped by longevity and the experience of losing everything - while he still cares deeply about others he bonds with, he adopted a very "go with the flow" attitude that lets him delve more into his curiosities and impulses at the cost of addressing serious problems. Frivolities are a great distraction from the knowledge that your people are critically endangered after all, and Miki goes to great lengths to occupy his mind with the pleasures and otherworldly challenges of the multiverse. It's better than admitting he's alone, after all...
Biography: Miki's pretty young by thunderbird standards. One of the few to hatch after humans settled what is now known as North America. What low birth rates do to a society of pseudo-deific birds of prey... Anyways. Miki was quite close to some of the people who lived on the continent prior to a certain intrusion from the east. It was a cozy enough life, sometimes helping out the humans who offered them praise and gifts. They saw his kind as gods for their control over the storms, and their willingness to cooperate when given praise. But of course, that had to change eventually. Miki and his kind were relegated to myths - most of them either wiped out or driven into obscurity. A scant few such as Miki took on human forms to hide themselves; remnants a species of lightning gods now fearful of mortals. Being functionally immortal he's seen all there is to see in America, for longer than America's even existed. Naturally, a curious bird goes out and finds new ways to spend time! Trying new things! Using esoteric European magick to cross dimensions! Because why not? Not like he's got much to live for back home anyways, so why not have some fun somewhere else?

I don't actually have much to say here for once lol. Maybe that my schedule for replies can be super inconsistent so please please PLEASE be patient with me - give me a couple days before sending me a reminder! I'll do the same for you unless you say otherwise. Also, while I do try to write multi-para, I do sometimes write a bit less. Expect a little bit of para from me now and again!
maybe i'll put kinks here eventually but all you need to know for right now is that miki is super switchy and super pan and i would prefer if we discussed kinks and setup before writing. So please no random starters!
