Lana Cream was born in Sunset Meadows Ranch to a cowgirl and human farmer. Growing up, she always had an interest of being more than a ranch bovine like her siblings and started to learn the Art of the Sword all on her own. By 16, she left the ranch with her family's blessings to start her journey, registering as a Crusader in the Adventurer's Guild. For the next decade, Lana gained a reputation for being a ruthless yet fair warrior, shielding her allies and decimating her enemies; despite her friendly exterior, Lana was a beast in the battlefield, swinging her mace and cracking skulls left and right. At the age of 26, she retired as an A rank adventurer, and used the earnings from all those quests to retire and open a tavern called Cookies and Cream.

Despite being the owner, Lana works the bar area of the tavern, greeting and serving customers with meals and drinks. The signature cocktail from Cookies and Cream is the Milk Ale, a mixture of cowgirl breast milk and the finest alcohol in the city. They also sell pastries, meals and other drinks. Lana is also responsible for renting out the many rooms of the tavern. Cookies and Cream is popular among the locals for the many exotic species of women working for Lana, as she hopes to bridge an understanding between humans and non-humans this way.

Even after retiring, Lana still visits and assists in the Temple of the Bovine God. While her Crusader days are over, she still wields some magic and faith in her deity, Kamael, enabling Lana to cast advanced holy spells. Lana keeps her battle gear and habit around for ceremonies and as a last resort if she ever needed to go into battle.
