When you wish upon a shooting star, what happens next? For most people- nothing. The star disappears from their vision and remains only a small fragment in their library of memory. To them, shooting stars are nothing but a wonder of science- claimed to be simply a wayward meteorite that fell from the galaxy. But what really is a shooting star? Is it truly a piece of space rock?
If only it was that simple. A star is a dazzling being that lives in the night sky, laying amongst the waves of the Milky Way and chasing each other around the glittering planets. They are playful creatures who enjoy their fun- overseen by Mother Sun and Father Moon. But what happens when a little star is not favored by their parents? For what if that little star is a little quieter than the others.. a little smaller.. not one to play but one to simply enjoy watching. One who is boring and.. different.

What is a shooting star?
A child shunned by her parents and thrown from the cosmos away from her siblings. A small glittering being that falls through the night sky, hearing the thousands upon thousands of praying wishes by those who know not of her true identity. Their voices fill her mind, until she locks onto one. One voice- a voice of comfort. She will cling to it- and appear before the wisher. It is now her duty to see through to the completion of this wish. Only then will she prove herself worthy to return to the sky, and rejoin her family.
