[October] Community Check-In

Wew, we're just 1 month away from our initial release of RoD, what a crazy ride it's been thus far and how quickly that ride seems to feel now....

You know the drill peeps, I do these community check-ins monthly to see how people are fairing on RoD!

We had a few changes last month, but I feel in a positive direction. From giving people more control over viewing NSFW content by applying back the NSFW rule be in a more lax state. To enforcing account logins to easier weed out inactives,

And the idea looming over, of removing the Photo and Album rate limiting to put more control back into the hands of the users by making use of the follow/unfollow functions to remove spammy friends from their feeds.

How are these changes fairing for you all? Any input?

    • Way to rain on that poor baby's parade.

      Overall good changes.

      Already been using the unfollow function as some people get spammy, or just didn't want to see posts at times, some being from wall posts popping in my feed.

      • It should in theory remove them from your notifications if you have the notifications on from context you follow.

        • Very likely! For the time being, I haven't had any issues!

          If I were sentimental I'd cry.

          But, everything is comfy right now.
