    • You might be exposing a bit of a weak-point there.

      • "Indeed it would be pretty low and yes there are some out there messed up like that. Luckily I have a pretty high tolerance to pain, so for most the reception to it would be akin to bumping into something, obviously would register that my body hit or has been hit by something but pain wise nothing, that is more like hmm, have you ever found yourself to have gotten knicks, cuts or even bruises at random times unaware of how it happened, from the lack of perception to them until after the fact? That is in essence the level of tolerance to the pain I have for most injury types, so as an example I could get shot in the arm, feel the bullet pierce through, but there would be no pain, but shot to the dick or a larger amount of damage like from large shrapnel from an explosion, that's another story pain wise."

        • Ehh.. *Shrugs.* Pain isn't much to me. Not when you have your bones and organs shift and rearrange every full moon. At first, it was indescribable. But now? Now, I've mostly gotten used to it. It still hurts of course but somehow not quite as much as the first few times I had to deal with it. Has its disadvantages however, not all good.

          • "A lycanthrope huh? isn't that curable if you kill the beast that infected you?"

          • I have grown used to it. No, clue where the ex that bit me went. Or if she is alive...Well, I would assume must still be alive. Otherwise if that bit of the legands are true. I can only guess I'd have been cured by now if she were slain.

            • "Oh you dated a lycanthrope eh? dangerous. So didn't think to keep track of her? Or she disappeared before you could?"

            • In my defense, I did not know of her affliction at first, Ha. No unfortunately lost track of her after a break up some years ago. Still have the faint scar of where I got bit from her.

              • "Which means outside of not informing you, she was deliberate in keeping track of when full moons would appear so as not transform around you. Unless of course she was one of those who are capable of controlling their transformations and wasn't influenced by the moon."

              • Exactly. I got too curious one evening, and found out her secret. The hard when when she fucking chomped down on my shoulder.

                • "Well as you are like her in that particular regard you likely have a better understanding if she was in control or if instinct was, and well that shows you made an effort for it to workout between the two of you, which of course does add a bit of a conundrum, if the legends are true she has to die to cure yourself but you dated her and from that have no particular malice or hatred towards her, which is the usual driving force to Lycanthrope victims hunting down their perpetrator."

                  • I won't kill her. Most see it as a curse, but I've personally come to see it more as a gift. However, there are times I have to take precautions, as I may not always be in control. Precautions in both avoiding unnecessary losses. Or if worse comes to worse at most at least minimizing said losses. And two trying to do all I can to avoid it spreading....Although point two is not that difficult, Most tend not to survive an encounter. If they do? In my experience, it appears to be a gamble some make it, But than others do not even live through the first change. Still, I see it best to avoid infecting others regardless, if I can help it.

                    • "Well if I recall it was supposed to be a curse, but yes it would have its benefits, though with some disadvantages or complications. Much like "Vampire" can from certain perspectives be a curse but also a gift with its own disadvantages/complications. But it also relies on the mentality of those who become them to dictate which side of the coin it is to them and how they make use of it, and handle its negatives. Though I can see as they are diseases and unnatural to the human body that the chances to survive are much like chances with other diseases that have a chance to kill."

                    • Sensible to think, the body would try and fight what it considers to be a disease or infection of some degree. And if that fails, yes can often be fatal in some cases. Ehh well can not say I have come across any vampires. Or if I have they manage to hide their true nature well enough I was unaware. Perhaps it is because I have been with the affliction for several years. But...There are times I feel the beast and myself are one in the same. There are times it is difficult to know where one side ends and the other begins. To such a degree if cured, I think I might end up feeling as if I had lost part of my identity or something of that nature.
