Sarah: I am so sorry about this, I tried to stop her T_T
"A mother who is concerned about her child's future cannot and will not be stopped Sarah, you know this and I have not prepared you as well as I have for this place to reject you; I WILL NOT stand for it. So just let mommy handle this."
Sarah sighed and looked down in submission but pouted all the same.
"Yes, yes talk is cheap now I want ANSWERS. Sarah told me her interview went well but she hasn't been selected yet and I demand to know the meaning of this, surely she has to be the most qualified."
Karen replied in a stern tone with her hands on her wide child bearing hips.
Sarah wanted to speak up and explain to her mother that she was simply waiting to be called for a second interview and that her application didn't get rejected just pushed back, however her mother was stubborn.
The pot of fresh coffee could be smelt as she re-entered the season. Having a small tray, she would place it down, pouring a cup for both parties. She had already started to work on the first one, seeming for her boss. "..How do you like your coffee?" She would look to Karen, speaking in a hushed whisper as if to not interupt.
"Goodness, do mind your volume, my employees are trying to work... what seems to be your issue, ma'am?"
"Of course, Miss Lusamine." She'd step away, seeking out the application first, returning with that for reference, before leaving to brew the coffee.

Sarah: Yes mom.
"Ah, how familiar...I do hope omy children can be as proud of me as you must be of your mommy."
Lusamine gave a warm smile, stifling her giggle afterwards.
"Apologies for any issues arisen by the delays, you know the saying about good help; and my poor assistant is swamped with ironing out the kinks."
