(Please, be aware that this waitress and hostess absolutely will not sleep with you. She has to know you to some degree, and even then, your behavior must be cordial, and EVEN THEN, it may not happen, ever. Friendship first. Any less and you'll only find a swift exit from the tavern without warning~)
Yufa Gamberg (ユファ・ガンベルク?), also known as the Raging Bull (猛牛もうぎゅう, Mōgyū?) is introduced in Ys IX: Monstrum Nox as the ever-energetic hostess and waitress of the Dandelion bar.
Though beloved among patrons for her sunny disposition and diligent attitude, Yufa is a girl burdened with many responsibilities, such as caring for and raising her three younger siblings, after her adoptive parents died in the Erdlingen War. Her childhood best friend Felix works at the Balduq Coliseum as a bullfighter, though she vehemently insists that nothing is going on between them.
Yufa is assigned to work as a waitress at the Dandelion bar by Carla, after Adol helps out the Pendleton company.
Due to having so many responsibilities to juggle around, Yufa is often exhausted—sometimes to the point of almost collapsing.
Her identity is revealed in Chapter 5 as the Raging Bull, when she transforms to save her sister and Felix from a rampaging bull in the coliseum. She acts as a mediator whenever there is an argument among Monstrums.
Later in the game, it is revealed that she, along with all other Monstrums are homunculi created by Zola to fight the Grimwald Nox with Aprilis. They were originally planned to be raised and trained by Aprilis and Zola, but when Zola disappeared, Aprilis found the job too difficult to be done by herself. So she faked their identities and pretended they were war orphans to be adopted. When they became old enough to join the fight in the Grimwald Nox, she sought them out and activated their power by shooting them with an alchemy bullet, turning them into Monstrums.
