Even a hero of pure heart that fights for justice and protects the innocent has an inner beast that shall awake and come forth when the night gives way to a bright full moon
Sonic the once proud hero of justice, nicknamed the blue blur or Azure wind has now been reduced to something more than just a hedgehog, no longer gifted with super speed, this new sonic is simply a muscled brute with unique traits, such as elastic arms, muscle density and is more durable than his previous form, despite the obvious draw back of no longer being speedy, thanks to his new canine abilities he is more attuned in battle able to react quicker and perform aerial stunts better than ever thanks to his newfound strength.
Though like any beast, Sonic does have a primal side that often drips through whenever in combat or when he is alone with his thoughts, some traits he cannot ignore such as being territorial or agitated during certain carnal desires, because of this, Sonic has exiled himself to the forests, staying away from his friends and family in an effort to protect them but over time the former hero has now become trapped in this beastial form, even during daylight when he was once able to be himself but now is forever the Werehog of forest.
