Born aboard the Black Pearl, Jack Sparrow Jr is the first son of Captain Jack Sparrow and Angelica Teach. He was mostly raised in Spain by his mother Angelica. When he was old enough, Jack Sparrow Jr joined the Spanish Royal Navy as a Privateer. Eventually, he ascended to the rank of Captain. During his time in the Spanish Navy, Jack Sparrow Jr had been hearing whispers about his father Captain Jack Sparrow. So he set a course for Tortuga to investigate and find his father. While visiting the Faithful Bride tavern in Tortuga, Jack Sparrow Jr met and befriended a female pirate named Adeline Jones and she agreed to help him find his father. Once he found his father, Jack Sparrow Jr decided to pretend to join the crew of the Black Pearl and eventually got to know his father. He then snuck into the cabin and snagged the Sword of Triton which used to belong to his grandfather Edward Thatch better known as Blackbeard. With the Sword of Triton in his possession, Jack Sparrow Jr began searching for the Queen Anne's Revenge, finding the legendary ship derelict with no crew maintaining her. Jack Sparrow Jr decided to keep the ship because he couldn't leave a fine ship to wither away from the elements. Eventually, Jack Sparrow Jr went on adventures of his own and had a relationship with a woman named Luna Barbossa. The relationship did not end well because she betrayed and tried to kill him on more than one occasion. Jack Sparrow Jr eventually left Luna. however he still had nightmares that she would return to enact revenge on her former lover. Later during his adventures, Jack Sparrow Jr was sailing the Queen Anne's Revenge in the midst of a storm when the Revenge struck a rogue wave knocking Jack Sparrow Jr overboard. Fortunately, a Mermaid saved him from drowning and to express his gratitude towards her, Jack Sparrow Jr saved the Mermaid from a group of bounty hunters. Afterwards, Jack Sparrow Jr and the Mermaid that saved him quickly became good friends.
