Grawsh the Risen.

Name: Grawsh (formerly Hayate Murasama).

Species: Goblin (formerly human).

Alignment: Self-serving; chaotic.

Age: Lost count since his reincarnation.

Status: Evolving Monster (monster god).

Height: 3'3 (goblin), 5'10 (hobgoblin), 7'0 (goblin lord).

Sexuality: Heterosexual (because people keep asking).


Low-Level Goblin:

This is the initial state that Grawsh found himself reincarnated into. A member of the Bloodfang tribe, his new home was that of a dense forest filled with other monstrous beasts, adventurers trying to kill him, and sicknesses/hazards that he found only in a video game. This period of his life is the most trying and the one which defined his growing outlook from social norms into one of survival, deception, and self-serving chaos.


The main goal during this period is to take leadership of the Bloodfang tribe. While goblins themselves are weak normally, when organized, their small frames and ability to swarm their opponents could be used to great effect. His options were to kill Grimfang the Dirty--a hobgoblin who took the title of chief by strength--or to prove his worth so greatly that Grimfang would cede and the swarms of the clan follow him. A daunting task regardless...at least until the status window and 'daily challenges' happened. Like a video game from his past life, he could call on the window for daily challenges...but key moments in his life would prompt 'quests' that offered great reward in exchange for the risks.



Tactics: At this stage in his life and survival, Grawsh utilizes his intellect and perception to gain advantage over his enemies. Deception, trickery, underhanded tactics, traps, manipulation and more are his weapons in a world that has decided he must die or struggle to survive. The more he gives into the cruelty of the world the more he embraces his monstrous instincts; those who help him overcome these habits help ground him. Never expect a fair fight from this goblin.

-- A pair of daggers formed from the Venomtail Snake found deeper within the forest of his people. The creature is about 20-feet long and considered a natural predator for the goblins for its speed and ability to blend in with its surroundings. The fangs are crudely guided into a blade-like shape, and then bound by stone and leather for a handle. A dose of the venom is said to render even an orc-chief in trouble.

During this time he has solidified himself as both the Chief of the Bloodfang tribe and the conqueror of the Dark Forest, making the other species submit to his goblins. Grawsh realizes that he can empower those whom follow him and begins to view the situation as something of a city-builder and rpg; the more he makes himself stronger and those underneath him...the better his chances of survival. A period begins where he makes reforms to the goblins in their habits, understanding, and tactics that leads to the beginning of what will eventually be conquest on a scale the world was not ready for.
