- Species: Golem
Appearance
Avrael was by all accounts an imperfect golem, and as such she doesn't share many characteristics found in other golems. One would be quick to confuse her for a Halfling, or even a Dwarf, but upon further inspection her shorter size is just all about she shares in common with them. Instead of a rocky exterior, or any alternative foundation that can be easily malleable, Avrael was constructed from the trusty little gem tucked neatly between her bosom. This gives her the option between two skins, so to speak. A more convenient one that is soft to the touch, and a little more round and malleable skin. The alternative hardening her skin, one she uses as means of self defense should the need ever arise capable of fending off just about any blade and high levels of heat. Sporting long messy hair that runs all the way down to her rear, typically styling it so that one side tends to cover at least one of her eyes. Her skin being a bright shade of purple which is based from the gem that is essentially her "heart", many of her identifying features have a tint of purple to them due to this.
Species
The reason Avrael fails to be a proper Golem is due to the oddity of the gem that powers her, already this gem possessed a considerable amount of mana prior to even being used as her heart. Avrael herself has stated to being alive long before being given a body, which shows that even as a gem they were sentient. Golem's being meant to be "soulless" and subservient to the one who had created them, one that has their own free will and mind is seen as an improper one. On top of possessing a body vastly different from her kin, Avrael was in every sense of the word an oddity.
Abilities
Naturally some traits that you'd expect from a Golem as still present, a considerable amount of strength that can rival Giants, and durability that puts even a Dragon's hide to shame. Anyone versed in Golem's is probably well aware of the crucial weakness one can exploit, and that is the core of the individual Golem. Unlike others of her kind she doesn't have the option to really hide her core, and it quite prominent as it rests between her chest. Given how she dresses one would assume she'd be a fool to leave it so exposed, but there are few things that can easily shatter or crack her core without her stopping the threat in the first place. Naturally imbued with a tremendous amount of mana as previously stated, Avrael has what is equivalent to shield that is passively maintained. While not invincible something of greater or equal power of her gem would have to strike her weakpoint, and one that is done her gem alone is quite durable.
