From a purely opinion standpoint:

How should a long-running* roleplay be structured and how long should it go?

    • My reasons for voting for what I voted for is because back when I did role play, that option is what I found myself in majority of the time.

      • Voted 3 but 2 is more my true option - since I'm in a moment where it's a forward motion RP that doesn't exactly have an end. Granted, that's only with few people who I get in and out of RP, but it remains moving forward.

        • Personally, I'm a big fan of the episodic way of doing things if it's a one on one thread, so I voted 3.

HOWEVER. If it's something with a bunch of people, you sort of need a bit of the structure of option 1 for logistics reasons. It's what I do when it comes to tabletop, at least.

          • I can't think of a time where I had an rp with longevity. I would prefer option 2 but you are blessed to get an rp going for more than the initial hours you started it.
