Lazy Morning

Tanya sighed. So now they were out. Wasn't a first, but not having proper beans was always a pain. You'd have to go without coffee or end up drinking slop that often wasn't any good at even getting caffeine. Tanya took a few sips of one of her cups, taking a seat by her desk. "I didn't wait all that long, but it feels like I can finally start my day." She pondered a bit. A few more sips. Not much of an excuse to keep her waiting... Even if she could just drop it altogether. "So. You asked why I treat you differently earlier."

Really there was that chance that Visha would have just forgotten entirely if she put it off for long enough. In truth, she only barely remembered clinging into that hopeful feeling and annoyed expression when she was told that earlier. So at the sound of her question, she'd nod her head. "Yes Major, I was hoping to know."
-
She took another sip, a bit slowly, as if building suspense. Perhaps she was just mulling it over for another few seconds, perhaps for phrasing's sake. "It's because you're like me. I've known since I first laid my eyes on you, when we first met. That's all there is to it." She sipped some more coffee, as if to say that should be enough.
