From a purely opinion standpoint:How should a long-running* roleplay be structured and how long should it go?

A roleplay should have a basic three act structure with a beginning, middle, and end

A roleplay should have a perputal, forward progressing, central story arc that could in theory go forever

A roleplay should be composed up a group of one-shot chapters strung together by a greater plot or series of events
