Since a few people had their accounts deleted that voted on the poll, their votes were removed. It got to a point to where I can no longer validate the choice as it was neck and neck before that point.

So with that being said, I'm disabling content filters for now, see how the community rolls with it, and if the general consensus is that you all prefer it this way, it'll stay intact. If there's conflict, I'll house another community poll.

Also, completely off topic, but rather important: I'm debating about introducing password expiry that will force people to change their passwords every X amount of days/months. It seems like every time I open up my news app on my phone there's yet another data breach at some big company and I know people like to reuse passwords on everything (please don't do this.....). So.... I dunno, it's something that I'm looking into.

    • I'd call password changes pointless. There's not enough actually important data on here, past possibly payment details, to really worry about such an annoying safety feature.

      • Each person has their own "Threat Model" that they adhere to when using any service. What you and I may deem "not important data" may not be the case for someone else.

        • True enough. I more so meant because, per the sites design, there's nothing linking this site to reality outside of IP and monetary information.

        • Uh, I did not even notice they were disabled. O.o And the password thing seems smart. Although every few days feels a bit much to change it that often. That might just be me though. I know I always aim to use different passwords, for the various sites that I might sign up for. Or whatever other service makes use of logins.
