I'm sure this question has likely been addressed and answered already but... Why are some accounts with no profile picture private accounts with the first letter of the account name? Even if they are on a friend list? Assuming they have been blacklisted or something?
Some I've noticed were just accounts that were uploaded and then worked on while live before going public. With this logic, I guess some just get stuck in limbo before fully realized?

When a profile is set to private, it hides the profile picture as well. At least, it should function like that.
