So indeed, if she had a problem with any of it, she would say so. Not that she particularly liked being dolled up, but you make sacrifices and compromises. She liked aspects of doing these things with Visha, so she'd live with it.

I do need them to count on me too, after all, so I guess even too much fear is a problem. Maybe the way our battalion is now isn't so bad."
