Her life before becoming an assassin is shrouded in mystery as it's unknown information especially how she was raised. While growing up quickly became a dangerously skilled sniper and assassin mercenary flew up the ranks and was tasked with taking out the Big Boss himself who was hospitalized. Before being able to assassinate her target was stopped and soon coated in lighter fluid and then lit on fire not once but twice without thinking flew out the window and left for dead. Somehow surviving the raging inferno had her lungs fried and as a last resort got injected with an infectious parasite that allowed her to now "breathe" through photosynthesis through her skin. Soon working for Diamond Dog's as their assassin sniper after recusing her formal target of Big Boss after proving her skills. The parasite when active is revealed by a black butterfly mark across her face which enhances her abilities and grants a few others. It was released/triggered by Quiet speaking the English language and as a result, took a vow of silence. Even without her trusty sniper rifle is still someone to watch out for given she's skilled in close-range hand-to-hand combat. Thanks to the parasite a major fault is tight/constricting clothes along with salt water e, especially being submerged in it.
