During the aftermath of the laboratory fight and the destruction of nearly all Nomu creation technology, the hero’s discovered one still within its growth vat fully formed yet hadn’t been awakened in time for the fight. It was taken into custody for research, where UAs brightest minds poked and prodded the dormant beast for answers in how to combat these living juggernauts.
During experimentation the Nomu known as subject 121 awoke! However, where others turned to immediate destruction this one behaved abnormally calm. It sat up on the table it was previously laid on, simply looking over the much shorter and terrified research staff with a certain curious gaze. It was discovered through further testing with the abnormal Nomu that it possessed a weaker combat form(though still remarkably powerful in a one-on-one) compared to other Nomu, however its intelligence was far greater than the rest. Subject 121 seemed to have a sentience unlike the other animalistic of his kind.
After several months of watching the research staff converse between each other subject 121 developed the ability to speak in broken, clumsy English telepathically, most likely a result of one of its quirks given to it.
Its speaking got better over time, and subject 121 has grown fond of reading about the outside world. For the time being it is kept beneath UA in an appropriate living area much similar to the average dorm rooms. Approval process for the subject to begin work in the hero field is still being processed. It’s advised to female researchers and heroes to air on the side of caution when interacting alone with subject 121, as it’s highly accelerated sex drive and powerful form proves a dangerous situation for those that catches its eye.
