While never causing problems for the village folk, they were never keen on having a wolf living among them. Being the understanding canine that he was, Cypress moved out into the forest to ease the mind. It's been a few years since he moved into the forest and while he remained in contact with the village for a time, he was eventually cast out altogether. With no more ties to his old home, he's built his own cabin on the farthest end of the forest, wanting to avoid humans altogether but even so far in these dense woods, he still gets the occasional visitor. Most often lost merchants or adventurers.
