image_transcoder.php?o=sys_images_editor&h=2199&dpx=2&t=1718726060Maza, a child stolen from his crib by the alchemist and necromancer, Viven. Raised being taught the ways of the assassin and combat from the undead Viven brought back after his disappointment that the child of the Saintess, Mira appeared to hold no magical ability. Instead of doing away with him, he raised the child to be his weapon. When he was old enough to learn, Viven commanded all undead under his command to not speak of anything not approved of to keep him loyal to Viven. This worked for years, many lives were taken by Maza.

Maza was taught math and to speak, but reading and writing was not much of a concern and only the basics was taught to him. He eventually had a run in and fought with his biological father, this also was the cause for his first failed mission. He was punished severely and food was withheld from him for a week. The food being withheld didn't faze him as he's gone without eating fresh food in the past and thus picked up hunting vermin for additional meals as well as fresh meat. During such punishments, he had undead specifically assigned to watch him. Two years after that failure, Viven showed Maza what the last seven missions were for, a new undead minion, but one unlike the many in the underground cathedral known only to the top three for use in extreme emergencies. A patchwork undead made with parts from the ones from he killed and the parts he was told to bring. There were more pieces needed, but a reward was in order for the success of the latest mission and the lack of any detection of what he did until a week after he returned. A pet, a dragon for his good work. This was merely something to keep Maza from even considering leaving and it worked, like a charm, but it also proved to be his eventual doom.  image_transcoder.php?o=sys_images_editor&h=2200&dpx=2&t=1718726092

image_transcoder.php?o=sys_images_editor&h=2196&dpx=2&t=1718725869The following year, another failure, but this time he had a run in with the saintess, Mira, his birthmother. Unlike the run in with his father, the attempt to kill him was stopped when his mask was knocked off and instead he was called out to by a name he hadn't heard before, Maza. The saintess' face changed to slight confusion. The attempts to kill him were changed to attempts to restrain and capture him. Maza was able to escape only thanks to a distraction his pet was able to cause. When he returned, however not only was he punished, but his pet was sent away. Three months after the failure, he was called in where he met the now active patchwork undead, Kira. He didn't really see much until he was told that his services were no longer needed and heard the man who raised him tell the undead to kill him. He quickly defended himself and disabled the undead, he didn't know Maza watched him put her together so he knew how to take her apart. What was surprising was her still being able to move despite being in pieces, but Maza took no time in threatening Viven into stopping her. The torture methods got Maza all the information he felt necessary to him, but also forced a transfer of Kira to him in exchange for him not killing Viven. Shortly after Viven left, he explored the rooms he never entered and found the corpse of his pet, but despite having extracted knowledge from the man, he refused to revive her. Instead, he ordered Kira to kill him as she pleased once they were at the edge of the forest. The method was never told to Maza, but she encouraged him to take everything and to leave what was once his home and explore the world to find clues about who he really is. He agreed hoping to run into that woman who called him Maza, perhaps she knew where he came from and what happened to his birth parents.

As he explores his new freedom, he is being sought out in the outside world by his birth mother, the saintess despite those up top telling her she was seeing things and the sudden unexplained murder of the Grand Cardinal, Viven being a more pressing issue not knowing her own son was the culprit.

Note: red very likely may be a point that comes up in roleplays

  1. He is much shorter than his parents due to the years of being given just enough to get by for the day except before missions. (Father is 7'8" while the mother is nearly 6' tall)
  2. Accustomed to eating what others would find unsavory or unfit for consumption. EX: has eaten rats he's found scurrying during one of his meal probation punishments alive.
  3. Knows very little of the outside world including the concept of money and what things are worth.
  4. Has very poor social skills, understanding of personal space(tell him to stay close and he'll be on you like a shirt lol)
  5. Has a duo of living dolls who serve him willingly, one of which is the closest thing to a mother he has.
  6. Has to keep the patchwork undead locked out when he sleeps according to the dolls, she may try to eat him in his sleep(a lie).

... If I get beat up by a pink rabbit, I blame that angry fox.
