Damn I had something like that last year. I got the job, was waiting for the start date then all of a sudden then withdrew the offer because I had an "undeclared dismissal" on my application apparently. I've never even been fired.
That's also uber rip! Life will find a away to screw you over indeed.. But good luck to us both!
