Its no different from show business really. There are dark sides to a lot of things and since vtubers are a hot topic its getting a lot of focus especially since the media latches to anything that is of a negative nature whether there is something going on or the person making the allegations is actually the one going overboard. I've seen streamers get very ugly and play victim so easily and it isn't until the moment they are finally exposed that is when people cancel them but more often than not the public will side against the company bus because they are protected and more likely to be the culprit because they are driven by profit. The world of V-Tubers is rough more so now. Its heavily saturated, fans can get ugly and haters harass, being independent is a tough entry unless you're leaving a company where you have a reputation already, and its a competitive landscape. Make it big and even then it can be mentally damaging. The world of online streaming is a warzone.
